Today I started to say goodbye to friends... tears run down my face when thinking about it... I enjoyed every moments spent here with my friends as I felt in peace around them, a serenity I rarely found with younger people. The people I met seems to enjoy life like I do, doing what they love and being who they are truly and taking me as I am.... They are true and loving, welcoming me in their heart and giving me time and knowledge... It is a beautiful gift life have given me. I am thankful and feel blessed being here, with Maggie (Jim and Linda's dog), seeing these mountains everyday, fabulous nature.
Thank you

Life as an adventure...
"Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself" G.B. Shaw
That was a message left for me I guess... I started my trip because I wanted to find myself and I ended up creating myself and become who I am today... it takes guts to believe in our dream but the path to it is the only way to truly be our self... but I'm happy even if sometimes it can be hard to figure what's going on. What is hard is to see that what ever is irritationg us in the other is our reflection... It took me a while to understand and see that but I will always be thanksfull to my friend Vaiana for telling me that a decade ago...
Everyday can be an adventure if we follow our little inner voice... So I decided to take line dancing classes. I never heard about it but I jump in and I was having a blast being surrounded by all this seniors having fun. I also take some Hula classes and I felt greatly welcome by all. It reminds me how much I love dancing and my culture... I miss Tahitian dance but hula is more strict and I needed that. Today I went with Sandra to some Zumba classes. I've heard of it before and it was a great lot of fun ! I understand why it is so popular. Mix pop dance, acrobatic moves and latino/south american dance with a constant smile on the teacher face... you have Zumba !!! I would recommend it.
Today while walking the dog, I met Wynona and Lindy, two senior neighbor. We started to talk and got connected right away. I found out that Wynona husband is the beekeeper I was buying my honey from last year and I was looking for him to buy more honey... I love his honey and getting it from him, he always had his beekeeper outfit on at the farmers market. Today I visited his honey workshop and it is amazing what you can do with less... Wynona love quilting and she invited me to join her if I wanted to learn how to make them. I immediately accepted of course... I was wondering what I was going to do today... tadaaaaaaaaaaa !!!
Life is magic and we have to watch what we wish for !
I added some new links to my "website to see" column, check them out. Pangeaseed is a organization fighting against shark finning, you can purchase very cool art and tshirt from their site to support them.
I recently found out about Plastiki, an amazing sailing adventure crossing the Pacific on a boat built with plastic bottle !!!
Follow Liz Clark and Swell across the Pacific and read her touching and well written stories...
I hope you are enjoying yourself, or working on it... we are our life captain... follow your instinct and live the fullest, try to do your best, with love and respect... it's a lifelong piece of work but we will ended up with the best piece of art we will ever own... ourself...
Love to you

I woke up slowly as the sun rise thru my window... birds are flying all over the sky celebrating the day to come... I lay here on my bed thinking... sinking in my dreams, being quiet to the sound of my heart beat... first ray of sun touch my skin, my heart beat faster sparkling to his golden touch... smile on my face, my eyes catches all the beauties around me... frost on the grass, snow layered over the mountains...
I am on the road again after some time spent home. Shooting for our dream can be hard and I feel lonely sometimes... Going back to my roots was necessary...
In a society where people daily feed their spirit with Fear, walls grow between human and Love. We prefer easy, fast social connection, avoiding any "real" contact with other human beings, and we build superficial social life thru media and internet. Our whole life becomes a virtual world, shallow and cold.
My sister, Sophie and her daughter, Amelia picked me up at the airport and welcomed me back in Washington. I was happy to see them. Her son Henry grew up alot since the last time I saw him.
I'm in Port Angeles dog and house sitting for my friends Jim and Linda. I met them last year with Michael and Mariela. I also came back to PA to pick up my belongings from Pangea and say goodbye to her as Martin bought me out. I was sad to say goodbye but that how life goes, it wasn't time for me to sail away...
Previous to my house sitting, I stayed with Mariela and Michael who became like family to me. We spent good time together sharing their love for cooking. I learned how to make home made pasta and pizza, it is as delicious as simple. I get the chance to see them every week for Friendly Friday Dinner and meet their friends. Last dinner they invited Sandra and Jon, a very interesting couple. They decided to work hard young and retired young. They moved to PA few years ago. They invited me to hike with them on Hurricane ridge the other day and I had a lot of fun.
Living for my dream of traveling around the world solo gave me the opportunity to reunite with my European family, my sister and brother. It is something I needed to grow up, family connection is special.
I always wonder why I was so attracted by the idea of traveling, meeting other cultures and seeing the earth further than the ocean that was surrounding me... I'm slowly getting closer to the answer...
