Hawaii, a land of dream for many souls, where hearts get lost and open up to the sight of a luxurious kind nature, the feel of warm ocean and sun caressing fragile skins... Sharp ridges flowing like a vertical swell, deep valley leading you to hidden waterfalls... long empty beaches beaten by the Pacific ocean...
I spent three weeks there with Noah and flew back home few days ago... Every time I come back home I discover it differently, falling in love again and again. I'm blessed to be born here. One day an Indian man I met told me we should exchange birth place... Moorea is very special, her silouhette is unique, her shape, mountains are like never seen before, no place I've seen around the world could be compare to I have here. Green lush, fruits everywhere, easy simple island life to the fullest... I've been surfing almost everyday since I arrived, met friends and been reminded of the kindness our people have... It feels good to be home...
Sun and love to you

Today I started to say goodbye to friends... tears run down my face when thinking about it... I enjoyed every moments spent here with my friends as I felt in peace around them, a serenity I rarely found with younger people. The people I met seems to enjoy life like I do, doing what they love and being who they are truly and taking me as I am.... They are true and loving, welcoming me in their heart and giving me time and knowledge... It is a beautiful gift life have given me. I am thankful and feel blessed being here, with Maggie (Jim and Linda's dog), seeing these mountains everyday, fabulous nature.
Thank you

Life as an adventure...
"Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself" G.B. Shaw
That was a message left for me I guess... I started my trip because I wanted to find myself and I ended up creating myself and become who I am today... it takes guts to believe in our dream but the path to it is the only way to truly be our self... but I'm happy even if sometimes it can be hard to figure what's going on. What is hard is to see that what ever is irritationg us in the other is our reflection... It took me a while to understand and see that but I will always be thanksfull to my friend Vaiana for telling me that a decade ago...
Everyday can be an adventure if we follow our little inner voice... So I decided to take line dancing classes. I never heard about it but I jump in and I was having a blast being surrounded by all this seniors having fun. I also take some Hula classes and I felt greatly welcome by all. It reminds me how much I love dancing and my culture... I miss Tahitian dance but hula is more strict and I needed that. Today I went with Sandra to some Zumba classes. I've heard of it before and it was a great lot of fun ! I understand why it is so popular. Mix pop dance, acrobatic moves and latino/south american dance with a constant smile on the teacher face... you have Zumba !!! I would recommend it.
Today while walking the dog, I met Wynona and Lindy, two senior neighbor. We started to talk and got connected right away. I found out that Wynona husband is the beekeeper I was buying my honey from last year and I was looking for him to buy more honey... I love his honey and getting it from him, he always had his beekeeper outfit on at the farmers market. Today I visited his honey workshop and it is amazing what you can do with less... Wynona love quilting and she invited me to join her if I wanted to learn how to make them. I immediately accepted of course... I was wondering what I was going to do today... tadaaaaaaaaaaa !!!
Life is magic and we have to watch what we wish for !
I added some new links to my "website to see" column, check them out. Pangeaseed is a organization fighting against shark finning, you can purchase very cool art and tshirt from their site to support them.
I recently found out about Plastiki, an amazing sailing adventure crossing the Pacific on a boat built with plastic bottle !!!
Follow Liz Clark and Swell across the Pacific and read her touching and well written stories...
I hope you are enjoying yourself, or working on it... we are our life captain... follow your instinct and live the fullest, try to do your best, with love and respect... it's a lifelong piece of work but we will ended up with the best piece of art we will ever own... ourself...
Love to you

I woke up slowly as the sun rise thru my window... birds are flying all over the sky celebrating the day to come... I lay here on my bed thinking... sinking in my dreams, being quiet to the sound of my heart beat... first ray of sun touch my skin, my heart beat faster sparkling to his golden touch... smile on my face, my eyes catches all the beauties around me... frost on the grass, snow layered over the mountains...
I am on the road again after some time spent home. Shooting for our dream can be hard and I feel lonely sometimes... Going back to my roots was necessary...
In a society where people daily feed their spirit with Fear, walls grow between human and Love. We prefer easy, fast social connection, avoiding any "real" contact with other human beings, and we build superficial social life thru media and internet. Our whole life becomes a virtual world, shallow and cold.
My sister, Sophie and her daughter, Amelia picked me up at the airport and welcomed me back in Washington. I was happy to see them. Her son Henry grew up alot since the last time I saw him.
I'm in Port Angeles dog and house sitting for my friends Jim and Linda. I met them last year with Michael and Mariela. I also came back to PA to pick up my belongings from Pangea and say goodbye to her as Martin bought me out. I was sad to say goodbye but that how life goes, it wasn't time for me to sail away...
Previous to my house sitting, I stayed with Mariela and Michael who became like family to me. We spent good time together sharing their love for cooking. I learned how to make home made pasta and pizza, it is as delicious as simple. I get the chance to see them every week for Friendly Friday Dinner and meet their friends. Last dinner they invited Sandra and Jon, a very interesting couple. They decided to work hard young and retired young. They moved to PA few years ago. They invited me to hike with them on Hurricane ridge the other day and I had a lot of fun.
Living for my dream of traveling around the world solo gave me the opportunity to reunite with my European family, my sister and brother. It is something I needed to grow up, family connection is special.
I always wonder why I was so attracted by the idea of traveling, meeting other cultures and seeing the earth further than the ocean that was surrounding me... I'm slowly getting closer to the answer...

Home sweet home...
14 hours train ride and not the most exciting landscape.... but I survived and made it to Central Sydney where I took the City Train to the airport. My plane was planed for 9am the next morning. I fell asleep on the floor by other tourists who were waiting for their next day flight as well. It felt like we were all one, watching for each other without words said... "passport please"... a police woman yelled at us, sounded like she felt pleasure waking us up in the middle of the night to check our identity. I woke up three hours before departure, register and wander around the airport, then enter the airplane for Auckland... couple hours later, watching some movies and having a good lunch, we were landing in Auckland. My last world trip plane ride... a dream achieved.... I sat by a young guy from Marquesas and felt the warm heart of my country in his soul, his voice, his gesture, his attitude... I was closer to home than ever... we shared our year memories, we laugh and talked like we knew each other for ever...
The planed landed in the night, I was thinking about my parents, the surprise I was eager to make them... I came out of the gates, passport checked and backpack on... some familiar faces here and there, welcoming me... sitting by a pole I saw my dad's friend, Emmanuel, who couldn't believe to see me here... he had an extra flower ley, meant to be for me as I wished for it... I stayed at his house, on the top of a mountain, I could see Moorea, on the corner, hear the ocean hitting the reef... everything is alive around me, catch all my senses, flowers of all colors... beautiful late dinner, a shower and sleep finally, in a bed...
Emmanuel dropped me at the ferry, I met friends, talked to her the whole way, get on the road to hitch hike home. First car stop and drive me close enough to my house... I enjoyed walking a little bit, feeling the earth under my feet, the ground that hold me since I was born... A friend pick me up and drives me all the way home... happy to help... The dogs seems to recognize me and stay quiet to my demand... I walk slowly in my dad's office and he can't believe his eyes... my mom is happy but apologize for not have changed the curtains.... so thoughful and caring, my parents are incredible and I'm so proud of them, love them so dearly. Sleeping in my bed that night never felt so relieving, to simply be able to sleep somewhere without feeling indebted...
Couple weeks have passed since I arrived... I went back surfing and couldn't believe how warm the water is... I forgot how confortable I could feel in our waters at anytime of the day and night, I missed it so much... Surfed with my friends, happy to be surrounded by friends, having fun on the ocean... fruits to feed my soul and heart, sun burning my skin... delirious fever, trip to Huahine, week end on the turquoise lagoon with Kyber, meeting friends from Huahine, sail back to Moorea with Andrian, orange sunset under the clouds by Raiatea, moon rising over the cloudy horizon, silent dreams under a stary sky, so close to the ocean, surrounded by sparkling wakes....
Wake up with Moorea backlit by the rising sun, she is dramatic, she is beautiful, she is unique, that's where I am from... and that's where I come back everytime my heart will call for home...
Nature is my best friend... she makes me forget/forgive how, us, human, can be hurtful to each other and to her. She remindss me to be humble, to respect and love what surrounds me...
May we live in harmony and symbiosis with our surrounding nature, may we all realize where we live and how lucky we are to be here, now...
Love to you all

Path to home...
Water have ran under the bridge since my departure from Pangea.... I stopped in Florida visiting my friend Elaine and took some time by the ocean and under sun, swimming in the waves.... Paris arrived and we danced together... I met friends, worked with them, visited my uncle and aunty Michel and Marilene, adopted the Dufresne family, learn how to bake french baguette with Thomas ... took the train to Germany to visit my uncle Maxime and Birgit, ran thru autumn colored forest with my cousins and nephew...
Back in Paris... lasts working days, lasts days with friends, big thanks to All of YOU, friends and Family, who helped me in everyway continuing my trip around our planet....
Plane ride to see beautiful London where people mix with each other and the queen has her face filling a postcard... tube rides under ground tunnels... sea food dinner and dreaming time with my cousin Tristan and Nicole, laughs with Sarah... Save my cousin's appartment from fire and save ourself from big trouble... I saw myself in a movie scene like I always dreamed off... hanging in the air of a four floors building, jumping from roof to roof and climbing over the wall to get in thru the window....
Plane ride to Bangkok like a rock star luckily upgraded. I found myself sitting by a very nice young man from England departing for his first world trip...
Bangkok... bus ride with locals who barely spoke english, but managed to let me know where to stop and wich bus to take to get to my destination. Little, concrete room for myself for 5 euros, delicious pad thai, mango shake, meeting with Andy from England, Eslie from Netherland, Ethan from Israel, Jerome from France, Andreas from Germany, Manuel and Martin from Chile... great group and we enjoyed night gathering, visited Chinatown with Ethan, eating what ever was pleasing our eyes or stomach.... Night out on tuk tuk.... hang out with Bangkok pimp... watching the flood getting closer to the center...
Flight out of Thailand.... arrival in Bali... dryness replace flooded scenery... memories from the past, meeting with my friends, days spent under the sun burning my skin.... Death of my dear friend Joel de Bremond... Bali traditional wedding, monkey climbing over me......
Arrival in Sydney, ride with my plane friend Wayne... train ticket for Brisbane... stress out about my bad money exchange... walk thru Sydney Chinatown... 15 hours train ride to Brisbane... 4 hours bus ride to Maryborough... hugs and smiles with my nephew, nieces, Natalie and Philippe, my brother.
Camping trip to Fraser island for two days, gold panning and most irreplacable moments spent with my family...
Thank you
Love to all of you
